New regulation
Training of work lift truck operators has been mandatory since 2008 according
to article 256.3 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Training of overhead travelling crane operators is also mandatory for all
the operators according to article 254.1 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Training on Aerial basket and platform lifting is mandatory for all users of
certain types of baskets according to article 263.1 of the Occupational Health
and Safety Act.
